This organization of business technology educators:

  • promotes education in business and information technology within the state of Ohio and cooperates with other agencies endeavoring to improve business education throughout the nation at large
  • promotes the desire to find better techniques and methods among educators in an effort to improve instruction in the fields of business and information technology so that the students are well prepared to take their place in the business world
  • cooperates with the Ohio Board of Regents and the Ohio Department of Education; Office of Career-Technical and Adult Education; Business, Marketing and Information Technology Unit in promoting the welfare and expansion of business education in the schools in Ohio
  • develops networking opportunities among business educators in Ohio
